This is an 8 fils torsade that then turns into two separate 4 fils rond.

8 fils torsade
Two 4 fils rond 
8 fils torsade
Two 4 fils rond

Repeat until done.

You can use toothpicks to make the hole between stitches larger.

After gluing the base of lanyard strings on a keychain ring, I made cobra (2 brin maillage de serpent), Chinese staircases (le maillage de escaler) and triangle stitches (3 brin normal et rond) around those keychain rings.

Once I was done, I glued the ends together so the circle is complete.

I then glued on fake pearls and fake diamonds

6 brin torsade with double strings of a figure 8 knot woven into and around the 6 brin.

I glued the end string onto the torsade so everything could stay in place once I was done circling it around the torsade.

New stitch variation. I used the two strings on the end of the 2 by 1 corkscrew and looped them around twice before tightening them.

New box stitch variation combined with monkey knots, Chinese staircases and triangles.

This is a quad with extra stitches on the upper left hand corner and lower right hand corner.
I then used a venetian blind stitch to give a kind of winding staircase/nautilus effect.

I used modified baby monkey knots on 2 strings of a 1 by 1 circle stitch. I felt it was too plain so I took a scissor and wove a string in the back of it to run a Chinese circle staircase in the back.

1 by 1 box or circle stitch
Then take 2 sides of the scoubidou and wrap the strings around twice the other two side of the scoubidou
Make sure all the loops let you go over and under
Pull until the stitch is tight

I tied a knot to connect 4 pieces of string.
Then used the resulting 8 strings to make two small, seperate cobras.
Then I connected the cobras with two superbrick stitches.
I repeated that action 3 times and a hole formed in the middle.
I then made that hole bigger by shoving a pen cap in the center of it.

I took a 1 by 1 box, made a nautilus stitch with one side only
and then I tried to make a hexagon that I pulled through the hole in the circle.
After the fact, it looks like a keyhole.

This is a 2 by 2 quad that I split into 2 box stitches, then move into 2 nautilus stitches and back into a quad stitch.

I used toothpicks to make the holes of the nautilus stitches larger and more even.

I made a 2 by 1 corkscrew with alternating nautilus stitches. The last picture shows how I made it.

A small simple cobra that changed directions when I intermittently used triangles to make the lanyard move in different directions.

This is an alternating quad with four Chinese staircases, where I shoved large fake pearls into the resulting holes.
