This is a quad, that I then alternatively built quads on the left and right corners (of each side) while building the piece up. I did not use glue for that effect.
More specifically, I made a regular quad and then took the 4 strings on the left to make a 1 by 1 Box stitch. Once I built that 2 by 1 Box stitch up a line. I then transitioned a third string in there fo make a quad. I alternated the process on each side of the main quad, twice.
If anyone wants to make this, you have to master the 1 and 2 box/superbrick stitches, the quad and know how to add and subtract strings to build a piece.
This is an Incrustation de Motif quad into an octagon into a 3 by 1 corkscrew and then a 2 by 1 corkscrew. This is nothing mind blowing, but I think it's okay.
Il s'agit d'un carré "Incrustation de Motif", dans un octogone, dans une torsade 3 par 1, puis une torsade 2 par 1. Ce n'est rien d'époustouflant, mais je pense que ça va.
3 by 1 triangular stitches into two triangles. Then a box stitch shrinking into 1 triangle. Had to cover the middle because it looked crappy. So i did a Chinese staircase that looks like a mother cobra.
Tied together three fake pearls and slapped it on top of a box_nautilis stitches going into 2 triangles and then added an additional pearl string in the middle to make a 3 by 1 superbrick.
I took a purple 1 by 1 and made a few 90 degree angles. I then used the thin tip of a scissor to loosen some side stitches and shove more bases for 1 by 1 box stitches on top of pieces that were already stitched. I had to use some glue to support pieces as they looked unsteady.
A 1 by 1 very minimally used nautilus megalace circle stitch going into a double bottle stitch, such that I layered three circle lanyardsovee each other.
A braid I found onto pinterest into 2 superbricks. I cut some string out to give that kind of pretzel look and then I have two 1 by 1 nautilus circle stitches going into a 3 by 1 corkscrew stitch
I think I accidentally made a cross stitch over and over again until I went into a 1 by 1 brick stitch then lengthened it by adding white strings on each side to make two hexagons that eventually went down into a large 4 by 1 corkscrew.
a 3 by 1 corkscrew stitch, with an extra knot wrapped around each base string, going down into an alternating box 3 by 1 superbrick, and then decreasing down into a 2 by 1 superbrick and a 1 by 1 superbrick
